How is it we are at the end of the summer already? Between being gone for 3 weeks for our honeymoon and this temperate summer it just doesn't seem like it is time for the summer to end.
That being said, it is a good idea to bring in your houseplants now so they can acclimate to less heat, sun and water. I will be giving my plants a serious last drink of water, letting them drain very well to not damage any furniture and finding good spots for the plants indoors.
I've waited in the past and have without fail forgotten a few good plants, only to have an early frost zap them and spend the rest of the winter playing plant nurse.
This year I am going to organized and proactive!

first flower
I wanted to launch this blog last Thursday ( the first day of spring), but I couldn't think of a name for the blog. Also I have been studying for the ISA exam that takes place on Friday. So a week later here is the first post.
Spring is officially here in Brooklyn!
